At first glance it was kind of festive to see these balloons gaily bouncing out of the side of the dumpster in the back alley - followed quickly by a bit of sad curiousity - Why are these still filled birthday balloons in the garbage?
Things that make you go hmmmm. :) I guess someone was not happy about celebrating their birthday. Does make for an interesting picture.
That is kind of sad...in this house, balloons stay around until all the life is gone from them! :)
That is a sad picture. I bet somebody's mother has had enough of all this partying!
What a great capture. It really does invite constructing your own narrative, doesn't it? I find myself imagining this as part of the cover of a novel.
So sad, but what an interesting juxtaposition of the bright balloons and the dingy garbage dumpster...
oh, how sad - such a story in this photo. I'd love to know why...
I am imagining an obsessive compulsive cleaner, who kept the balloons around as long as he/she could.'tis sad. They look lost.
