As this shot so clearly illustrates, I spent some time learning how to use a wireless remote for my camera.
My plan was to try and take pictures of myself airborne, jumping from a swing, except I changed my mind while doing the actual swinging because, well, it seemed too high up and I chickened out.
(My two youngest kids who were with me hooted at my cowardice and continued to fling themselves icarus like at the storm clouds above.)
I'm wearing not one sweater (the rainbow wool hoodie was a gift from my oldest kids and my husband) but two, another wool cardigan was underneath. It was that chilly.
Although I did get warm by repeatedly jumping up and down as I tried to catch a picture of at least my feet seeming to be frozen in mid air - much to the entertainment and bemusement of passersby.
Desperate to see my blurry, blue painted toes?
(Of course you are!)

Cool, you got a remote! I've been playing with mine a lot.
ReplyDeleteI like this shot, in part because it was almost 100 degrees here today and my air conditioner seems to be broken--again--and it's effing hot in the house. Even now, in the middle of the night. So seeing you in two (two!) sweaters, it's just cool.
what a great series of shots. your flikr stream is clear evidence of some excellent work lately, m'dear! (my own stream hasn't been fed in months, i'm ashamed to admit. summer's comin'!) wow on the action shots! and yes, the blue toes are fab!
ReplyDeleteBrrr - you look cold! Cool to have a remote though - have fun with it. I looked at the flickr pictures - love your toes!
ReplyDeleteso cute! love the blue toenail shot. hope you are having a wonderful monday!
ReplyDeleteLOL! I love the expression on your face! We've got a few of those with Philippe, trying to figure his remote out, too. We were glad to find out our daughter's new camera can use a cable remote trigger with hers.
ReplyDeleteAnd a just LOVE that rainbow hoodie!
Now, time to go to flicker check out the rest of the photos... :-D
A.
Oh, what I wouldn't give to be cold and needing a couple of sweaters! We are in the midst of a heat wave, and it's still over 90 degrees in my house, even though it's past midnight.
ReplyDeleteI love the look on your face! I was outside sweating at 7 pm watering plants tonight. Hard to imagine anyone having to wear a sweater right now!
ReplyDeleteI love this!!!
ReplyDeleteI think I know my photographer for an upcoming book jacket sleeve... :)))
