he picked up three or four from where I had tossed the on the grass
I was so astonished that he would or could fit that many in his mouth that I nearly forgot to try and take the pictures
and then he flew up the fence rail, looked back at me...shook his head and flew away.
(I had to play with conrast and sharpening and other things in iphoto)
wow! that's both an amazing feat and an excellent shot! for some reason, i love looking at birds with things in their beaks. i think it's because it's not something you see every day. i would never have predicted he could fit that many!

ReplyDeleteHow funny! We had a chipmunk who would come on our deck to beg for almonds He could fit three or four in his mouth at one time. Greedy little things!
