knife's edge

if you balance just so
never breaking concentration
you can walk the blade
without the skin giving way and bleeding
and walk on
knowing that falling off either side
is a possibility
but not an option

    But if you catch a glimpse of something out of the corner of your eye and break your concentration for just a split second. Ouch.
