my daughter is hoping to donate the hair from her haircut today to an organization that makes wigs for people who experience hair loss during chemo treatments

I did that in '07... might be the only time. yeah for her!
Good for her.
That's a nice thought. Were they able to take it? The last time we looked into it, we were told that the hair had to be in a braid at least 12 inches long. They'd simply cut off the braid to keep it all together, then finish cutting the rest of the hair more stylishly.
