As Bill Waterson so aptly described it, through Calvin and Hobbes - the days here in Gawdessland are JUST PACKED!
This morning I enjoyed a wonderful walk that included roses, roses, roses and a good friend.
At a quiet bend in the river we came upon this bench and the serenity of the moment and the light made me reach for my camera.

When I ask to photograph someone, it is because I love the way they look and I think I make that clear. I'm paying them a tremendous compliment. What I'm saying is, I want to take you home with me and look at you for the rest of my life. - Amy Arbus

I always enjoy looking at your photos! This really does look serene.:))
Serene is the right word! Great shot.
Sweet. How did you know that I've been reading Calvin and Hobbes all week?
Ah, such a lovely spot!
A.
It looks like the perfect spot to sit and catch some rays. Nice place to just be. The light is really pretty.
Great photo of a lovely place.
That is pure loveliness. A watercolor painting in light.
i love all that bill Watterson has to say through CnH .No matter how outrageous Calvin gets, he still makes sense :)
