My friend Trailwoman took my daughters and I on a walk in the woods today.
She knows a lot about many things like electric blue damsel flies and ducks and song birds, beaver dams, creeks and chokecherries and wild strawberries, pansies, roses and bluebells.
It was one of those experiences that leave you happy, even if you didn't have a camera...so just imagine how pleased I am, because I did!

When I ask to photograph someone, it is because I love the way they look and I think I make that clear. I'm paying them a tremendous compliment. What I'm saying is, I want to take you home with me and look at you for the rest of my life. - Amy Arbus

So cool! That blue is amazing against the green!
Wow. Such vivid juxtaposition of colors! Aren't damselflies the ones that only live for a few hours?
Oh that blue is just stunning as is the photo! :)
So blue! I had to see it at the larger size to be able to find the wings. :-D
Beautiful photo.
