terra cotta

tones, originally uploaded by gawdessness.

One thing leads to another.

A wet basement
black mould
sick kids
sunken backyard
rotting garage
fences in disrepair

hopefully all being put into the past
one potful of money at a time

only one corner of the yard is not black mud
and it is kind of pretty

*********my friend peachwoman has just started her own photoblog with some really lovely pictures**********

This is a really nice photo! I like the detail that comes through and the subtle difference in tones. I also like your friends site and will visit her blog regularly.

This is a nice shot, very romantic and nostalgic.

Wheelbarrows are very photogenic aren't they? I agree with Sandie - very nostalgic.

i'm sorry to hear about the mold. what a pain! i hope you're able to nix it right away. i hear those ozone machines do away with it quite well.

Oh no!! I hope you get through it quick. Home repair stuff is never fun. (to me, anyway)

For me this picture is a symbol of the future, of hope and justice.

When I ask to photograph someone, it is because I love the way they look and I think I make that clear. I'm paying them a tremendous compliment. What I'm saying is, I want to take you home with me and look at you for the rest of my life.
