sometimes they are all that we can do
and sometimes they are as tenacious as dandelion seeds
finding the tiniest bit of dirt
to thrust roots deep into
to burst green leaves out of
to roar with yellow face at the sky
and to startle us with a whole new crop of wishes again.

When I ask to photograph someone, it is because I love the way they look and I think I make that clear. I'm paying them a tremendous compliment. What I'm saying is, I want to take you home with me and look at you for the rest of my life. - Amy Arbus

Beautiful.
The shot is so ethereal... the phot and the poem are wonderful together.
I've been finding it hard to find the time to visit any of my favourite blogs lately but with both children asleep and husb tucked up in bed with a bit of a cold I'm finally catching up - one big comment to cover lots of pictures I'm afraid but you take such beautiful pictures. I particularly love the ladybird and the gosling (so cute!). I'm a bit baffled by the Muskrat video but lovely picture of him!
Such a soft and beautiful photo.
:-)
