strangers at the playground

strangers at the playground, originally uploaded by gawdessness.

It is a bit of an odd process for me, this picking of one photo for the day.

Sometimes I am not at all sure what it is about the one I have picked that makes it the right one and I may not figure it out until later, if ever and sometimes I know right away.

This one is the right one today, I think.

These kids were just having so much fun at the playground, it as infectious and I couldn't help but snap just this one of them.

They liked seeing it and were all fine with me keeping it.

Taking pictures of people is my very favourite thing to do.

The true measure of a great photograph is that it captures the mood. You have certainly done that with this one.

I agree with lew--what a great capture of a fun moment!

as usual, you caught the exact moment that needed to be shared, the moment of action, of hilarity. the unceremonious dump off the slide's end -- perfect.

What a fabulous picture - it made me smile thinking what fun they were having. As they've all said before me, you caught the moment perfectly

When I ask to photograph someone, it is because I love the way they look and I think I make that clear. I'm paying them a tremendous compliment. What I'm saying is, I want to take you home with me and look at you for the rest of my life.
