grass is tickling my nose
grass in my own backyard
it came today
by truck
in slabs
on pallets
and now it covers the dirt
like a patchwork quilt
on a bed
that I am stretched out on.

When I ask to photograph someone, it is because I love the way they look and I think I make that clear. I'm paying them a tremendous compliment. What I'm saying is, I want to take you home with me and look at you for the rest of my life. - Amy Arbus

cool designs on the glasses!
as to the bonus pic, i have no bloody clue! a cracked clay bowl? charcoal or pencil leads stacked in a bundle? a mosaic of some sort? weird, but cool.
What a really neat picture! Well done. Your eye looks just amazing.
As for the mystery pic - you've got me on that one! Especially when I looked at the original size and saw what looks like dustbunnies. LOL
A.
Had some sod laid, huh? Neat picture, and I love your glasses. too!
As for the bonus pic, I haven't a clue. I'm figuring that the title is descriptive... the best guess I've got is dried gum stuck in the bottom of a pant's pocket?!
OK, try not to get a hernia laughing...
Your eye is so intense in this shot.
I don't know what the mystery pic is either, some sort of stonework I think.
I love all the detail in this and I love that you thought to take it and of course I love the words. :)
i have no idea on the macro, but it is a really cool shot.
and you have the most amazing eyes!
