Loud, messy, obnoxious and pretty and interesting too.
These gulls spent a fair amount of time in this puddle.

When I ask to photograph someone, it is because I love the way they look and I think I make that clear. I'm paying them a tremendous compliment. What I'm saying is, I want to take you home with me and look at you for the rest of my life. - Amy Arbus

They are messy. We have a gracious plenty of them around here. I saw some black-headed gulls yesterday, but didn't have time to stop.
I like the reflection in this. And the way the white snow matches the white feathers.
you know, it occurs to me that part of your healing process is all these photograhps of birds?
every image is so lovely.
Maybe they liked their reflections? Great shot.
and yet another person today with an amazing reflection shot! Just beautiful
I just love this shot - the whites and other colors, the reflection, everything :)
I always associate gulls with a sunny, sandy beach so the juxtaposition of the snow and gulls is weird - in a fascinating kind of way. I really like this!
very cool shot. love the reflection
