stump hat

stump hat, originally uploaded by gawdessness.

Making fashion waves in the most exclusive wooded areas in the river valley, this season - stumps in the know are sporting jaunty chapeaus.

(Spotted very close to the turn around point on our run this morning - thanks to my running partner for being so tolerant of my stopping and taking pictures every kilometre Thanks N!)

Is this like a block head? Interesting creatures in your neck of the woods!

Too funny!

And a lot better than the sorts of things we're finding in our neck of the woods. :-P

Did you check to see if the gnome was actually still there, hiding? I think if you look very carefully . . .

LOL! When I first saw this, it looked to me like he's hiding in a hollow stump, with just his hat sticking out. :)

When I ask to photograph someone, it is because I love the way they look and I think I make that clear. I'm paying them a tremendous compliment. What I'm saying is, I want to take you home with me and look at you for the rest of my life.
