Tucked in a corner window at the dutch bakery.
I didn't even see them until we were leaving and actually outside and I was looking at ice melting from an overhead ledge.
So I snapped, quickly and didn't think about it much.
Of all the pictures I took yesterday, it ended up being my favourite.

When I ask to photograph someone, it is because I love the way they look and I think I make that clear. I'm paying them a tremendous compliment. What I'm saying is, I want to take you home with me and look at you for the rest of my life. - Amy Arbus

I love it when that happens. Or, I take like a thousand shots of something and end up liking the very first one best.
They look like they have been sprayed with gold paint! Lovely shot, even better for its spontaneity.
Lovely! Looks like my conception of a Kansas field in late summer.
When we lived in Kansas, my mom made these ornaments out of braided wheat stalks. That's the first thing I thought of when I saw this picture. Beautiful golds!
I really love these, it does look like summer :)
