Not really.
This one came straight out of the camera.
For some reason though it makes me think of a fresh hairstyle, new from the salon.
Butter is another thing I think of.
Butter and...
curls and waves,
strawberry blondes and dawn,
old fashioned bathing caps,
thick, clotted cream, like you get for cream tea in England...
with strawberry jam smeared on.
and learning about light.
and my children having to learn not to thump when Mom is taking a long exposure doing macro shots!
Talk about a tangent!

When I ask to photograph someone, it is because I love the way they look and I think I make that clear. I'm paying them a tremendous compliment. What I'm saying is, I want to take you home with me and look at you for the rest of my life. - Amy Arbus

Rich and delicious. It's making me hungry.
I adore this combination of colors...the flower is so delicate and so powerful at the same time.
Love your macro work.
It's a great shot-I love the colors. I love flowers so much.
"and learning about light"
i love this line. it works on so many levels.
the colors make me think of a peach, with its mottled yellow into orange into red skin. lovely. i feel i can almost smell the rose.
Beautiful shot
