At the park that we go to on Monday afternoons (meeting up with other homeschooly types) - I found an angel among the remains from a snow sculpture competition.
Rising above me and above the damage that had been done to her, by people breaking off pieces and throwing pop on her and by the sun beating down.

When I ask to photograph someone, it is because I love the way they look and I think I make that clear. I'm paying them a tremendous compliment. What I'm saying is, I want to take you home with me and look at you for the rest of my life. - Amy Arbus

What an exquisite testimony she has and you have captured here.
The clouds just make this shot - great capture!
this is ethereal and just so strong. the white looks as strong stone. powerful shot. even without the backstory. and with it...wow.
Beautiful shot - also like the windscreen shot too.
Beautiful
Ah she is beautiful and so strong. Thanks, I needed to see this this morning.
WOW-this is so terrific-I agree with Karin-the clouds make the photo. You did a great job with this.
I thought it was a statue - how sad that she's so ephemeral. A really lovely shot.
Oh she's beautiful. Shame she can't last forever.
this sure did not look like a snow sculpture to me........at first glance i thought it was a statue......i have never understood what motivates people to vandalize a work of art....i mean why would anyone want to deface something that someone painstakingly created!!!
thank you for visiting my blog regularly.....i have not been able to do that lately thanks to my new job and move to a new city..but hoping to learn to manage time better soon ..have a great weekend :)
