From late yesterday but I like it so it is being posted for today.
Part of my "trying to embrace power lines" challenge that I have set myself.
Shot this out of the window of a moving car.

When I ask to photograph someone, it is because I love the way they look and I think I make that clear. I'm paying them a tremendous compliment. What I'm saying is, I want to take you home with me and look at you for the rest of my life. - Amy Arbus

embrace the power lines indeed! i find, now, after many years of looking and cultivating appreciation, they provide some of the best beauty in urban settings! i still prefer the view without them, but since they're a reality where i currently live, i've learned to see their beauty. what an incredible sunset! and really, without the poles or *something*, the sunset wouldn't be as unique -- it needs some contrast to make us realize its gorgeousness.
Well, I have a strange affinity for all utility infrastructure. :)
This is nothing less than fantastic.
That sky looks so moody! :-)
A.
lol - embrace them, huh? well, I must say, you certainly did a great job - they actually enhance that incredible sky - really a great photo!
Oh wow...that sky is awesome!
Great shot. Gets my vote.
Embracing power lines. Hmmm. Not a concept I had considered before! But you have certainly embraced them!
Great shot. Love the sky and the criss cross of lines across it.
