another flower - who'dve thought?
I love taking pictures of flowers, I am actually waiting for hydrangeas to become available so I can get one or more to point my lens at!
These tulips are finishing and I wasn't thinking too much about them until I was sitting at the table eating and was caught by how they filled with light and shadows.

When I ask to photograph someone, it is because I love the way they look and I think I make that clear. I'm paying them a tremendous compliment. What I'm saying is, I want to take you home with me and look at you for the rest of my life. - Amy Arbus

You take exquisite pictures of flowers, (and doors and kids toes, and ..). Your use of light and shadow turn an ordinary subject into a beautiful picture.
wow on the shadows! nice!
Gorgeous light
Mmmm those layers of shadows slay me. When I was in the grocery store yesterday I kept going back to the florist section to look at the flowers. I was thinking about you and your tulips. I almost bought some but I thought they looked a little tired and I wanted food instead. I contented myself with hot house tomatoes and pears, hoping to see more of your photos.
"was caught by how they filled with light and shadows..."
yep, and you sure did capture it. so lovely.
i love the way you shoot these delicate flowers with the tenderness they deserve :)
Lovely.
