threads on the edge

threads on the edge, originally uploaded by gawdessness.

Swiss army knife, the scissors feature.
My friend was using it to snip embroidery floss and there are fine blue fibres are clinging to the tips.

There are two more knife pictures that I kind of like on my flickr account.

Bonus: click on the flickering gawdess link on the side and you will also see a picture of the "rescued" animal that is now sleeping (and hopefully NOT dying) in our back bedroom.

Either way it goes, my oldest daughter has stepped up as the caregiver and is attempting to handle what comes.

Philippe absolutely refuses to look at another macro shot from you. He's green with envy. ;-D

aw, poor pidge. i like the pidge shot. i really like both knife shots, the one you posted here, and the one with bizarre focus on only the tips of the snips. really fascinating, that one.

i'm with sharon and philippe in the envy department.

fabulous, fabulous macro. I'm so hankering for that lens.

I hope the rescue turns out well, and if nothing else gives comfort to the rescuee. Bless your daughter.

When I ask to photograph someone, it is because I love the way they look and I think I make that clear. I'm paying them a tremendous compliment. What I'm saying is, I want to take you home with me and look at you for the rest of my life.
